My heart is not haughty, O Jehovah;
My eyes are not elevated too high;
I do not concern myself with great things
Or matters that are too profound for me.
Instead I am calm and resigned,
Like a weaned child with his mother,
A weaned child is the soul within me.
Israel, have faith in Jehovah
From now until forevermore.
